If we are to open our minds to other religions and reduce some of the fanaticism prevailing all across the globe, we should study the literature from other religions too.

Life is like a fruit salad with each fruit representing different beliefs and religions. If you only eat the apples, how can you enjoy the fruit salad?
I would love to know how to put new things in my side bar, but I don't. I've made that an objective for this month...to learn.
I have found that most religions have a great deal in common --- the church of the flying spaghetti monster being the exception :-) I like the idea that when one gets to the basics of faiths, they have pretty much the same message --- those gulfs that some people like to exploit are not so large after all.
