We must put aside our differences and help these people who lost everything in the space of moments. Lost, all lost! Families, belongings, animals, even the very land on which they lived.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
which is perfect and everlasting, that our souls may radiate peace.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
that we may think, act and speak harmoniously.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
that we may be contented and thankful for Thy bountiful gifts.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
that amidst our worldly strife, we may enjoy Thy bliss.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
that we may endure all, tolerate all, in the thought of Thy grace and mercy.
Send Thy peace O Lord,
that our lives may become a Divine vision and in Thy light, all darkness may vanish.
Send Thy peace O Lord, our Father and Mother,
that we Thy children on Earth may all unite in one family.
Amen
which is perfect and everlasting, that our souls may radiate peace.

Amen indeed.
Happy BYB Sunday abd have a good week.
I suppose all of this weather will have global ramifications. Sadly, I read that the cocoa crops in Mexico were harmed in hurricanes. The good news, the report said: the damage would not affect the rest of the world because none of it was earmarked for export anyway! Only the locals would suffer. I had to read the article twice to believe my eyes.
This Sufi prayer could be the prayer of any faith, I think! This is another reminder that we are all one humanity.
Happy BYB Sunday.
Amen!
Have a great week ahead!

The flooding and evacuation in Bangladesh is truly heartbreaking, and I add my prayer to yours for their safety and care. And for all the others worldwide whom are suffering! May there be a giant change for the betterment of humanity!

Happy BYB Sunday.
@msdemmie-you, too.
@sandy-the origin of the prayer is put in the post for purpose attribution only. The more I look for prayers of other faiths, the more convinced I am that we are all one.
@neo-you, too!
@sue-Oh, mother of the beautiful girl, have a great week.
@paulie-would not miss it for the world. I was out of town last week and missed my Sunday reads.
Thanks for posting this... yes... Mother Nature's wrath all too often hits those who can least afford it...
Psalm 69:15
Do not let the floodwaters engulf me or the depths swallow me up or the pit close its mouth over me.
