After slapping my page rank down from PR4 to PR0, the search engine to remain nameless is giving it back, a little at a time. This blog now has a page rank of 2. Whooo-hoo!
I should actually thank the search engine for the slap. The loss of page rank made me realize what is important and what is not. Page rank is not important. I love to blog and, even with PR0, people come to my blog to read and comment.
That is what blogging is about. No search engine can change that.

That comic was hilarious. Giggle slapped me down to the big fat zero just recently. It still stings.
I am always amused by the rank stuff. How much becomes important because we let it be?
Your blogs are wonderful.
Happy Easter.
Who needs page rank anyway? I'm sure you have a lot of followers and readers already.
Ah getting giggle spanked. It is not fun... I just wish I had a PR4 to be worried about losing!
Well, I never had anywhere near a PR4 to lose, but I was spanked about a month ago and it still stings me too.
There is life at PR0, though!
@sly hoax-boycott G@@GLE!
@sandy-It is "rank." LOL!
@vangie-Why thank you. Happy Easter.
@james-I am sure you will have. Your blog is relatively new.
@rambler-There is indeed life at PR0. There is also life w/o G@@GLE.
Funny. It's not so important the PR sometimes, if you have traffic is good enough.
I have recently started to drive more traffic to my site, <a href="http://www.seigfrieds.com>Seigfried's Restaurant Equipment</a> by posting links and trying to create a social media buzz. It is slowly working, but my page rank is still 0... It's good to hear that the PR doesn't really matter that much. I just wish there was an easy (and cheap) way to get my site to #1 when somebody types in Used Restaurant Equipment. Perhaps someday...
