Blog Your Blessing : What is Love?

Children were asked, 'What does Love Mean?' Here are their answers ...

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't
bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my
grandfather does it for her all the time, even when
his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

Rebecca - age 8
_____

"When someone loves you, the way they say your name
is different. You just know that your name is safe in
their mouth."

Billy - age 4
_____

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts
on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each
other."

Karl - age 5

They look gross when they kiss"

other so well."

anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."

That's my favorite one!

I have my blessing up --maybe you will drop by?

Whatever said...

You made my week :-) First with the statue on the cake, and then with the quote:

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."

Thanks

A fresh quote and inspiring about love from kid's perspective. Nice post. But for bloggers love is :
"when you link back to my blog". LOL

I am always amazed at the way children think and the things they say and I always enjoyed watching Art Linkletter remember his show, Kids Say The Darnedest Things?

At any rate children are our greatest assets and should be cherished, sorry if I went off topic, but children are our blessings and they are hilarious.
