Blog Your Blessing : Peace in Middle East

sunrise at beach

G
od Our Creator, who made the earth a peaceful garden,
help us restore that peace wherever it has been broken
by terrorism and injustice, especially in the Middle East.

We repent for the times when religious language
has fostered hatred and division. . . .

Bring healing to those whose lives
have been shattered by violence.

Instill a renewed spirit of reconciliation in those
who lead our people politically and religiously. . . .

Amen

Wonderful prayer. That the people in charge might have the humility to pray it. I worry about those who hijack religious language to support political and economic goals.

This is a beautiful sky.

Reminds me of a line from the book (and movie) "Cold Mountain."

"I do believe God grows weary of men killing in his name." (or something like that)

I couldn't vote in your poll, there was no tab for "NO."

Happy BYBS.

@otilius-Wow, you visited my blog. Normally I get the email and think, "why did he not leave me a comment?" Thanks, oti, and have a great week.

@Matthew-Thanks for stopping by. I hope we will see peace in the middle east in our lifetime; of course, I am have to live as long as Noah.

@HotDogMan-Thanks for the heads up. I have reworked the poll and it awaits your vote. LOL

Very meaningful prayer accompanied by a wonderful photo -- thanks for sharing both today. Glad you stopped by mine.

OK I voted "No."

While I haven't lost PR, my technorati rank is stumbling a bit.
