Virtual Worlds News: Are Marketers Pulling Out of Second Life?
It's just too risky to set up a building that might be defaced, blown up, or picketed by flying penises. It may be hard to convince users to stop in and check out the marketers' sites, but it might be even harder to convince them to leave them alone . . .
That's kind of why I stopped playing Sims: how exciting can it be to spend a "Sim life" peeing, bathing, going to work and cleaning house when that's precisely what I do in my First Life.
Second life will become one more advertizing space if owners allow it and they will as we can see. Just another trendy way to make money online.
@kate-OMG, you pee in virtual space? LOL. I have too much to do in real life to have a virtual life.
@myhive-Thanks for stopping by. I cannot participate in anything that takes more than a day to learn. LOL
SL is pretty insane.
Though, never could figure out how to make any $ in it...
Besides Adult and Gambling, didn't see many other popular categories..
Though, wild interaction!
@beavi-Thanks for visiting. I visited your site, but there is no way to leave comments, so I guess it is not a blog. You should add a blog for engagement and interaction with your visitors.
