Help with addiction is just a call away

A few months ago, I was looking into drug and alcohol treatment facilities for a friend's child. I was at a loss in finding a program or even where to start. Finally, I called my therapist (from years ago) and, after we caught up with 15 years of history, I received some information on options in the small town in which we live. Mainly, her suggestion was to look to Austin or San Antonio for programs.

Today, I saw a drug rehabilitation program referral service called 1800NoDrugs.com. This is a non-profit agency that will refer you to a drug treatment center that meets your needs, free of charge. I like having this bookmarked in case the need arises again. 1-800-NoDrugs.com provides a service designed to help drug addicts, alcoholics, chronic relapse victims, and their families find effective drug rehab treatment and intervention for alcoholism and drug addiction treatment.

You may want to bookmark 1800NoDrugs.com, the sponsor of this post, or just jot down their telephone number: 1-800-NO-DRUGS (800-663-7847). If you have teenagers, you may want to visit the website. There are many resources on this site: articles, financing options, international contacts, and a contact form.

It never hurts to be prepared. Hope this helps someone.

The most important factor that has to be considered while choosing a drug rehab is the kind of treatment they provide and with what kind of professionals. I have seen many people giving importance only for the place of the rehab center. Though it plays an important role, it is better we go for rehabs with the best treatment first.
Thanks for the useful resources you provided.
Keep posting.
